Passage

The old lighthouse on Cramer Point had stood empty for almost a decade. When Jia Wei first arrived at the village, the building was a shell of its former self — windows cracked, the iron door rusted shut, and gulls nesting where the lamp had once burned. He was sent by the heritage board to assess whether the structure could be saved.
