Read the following passage carefully and answer the questions that follow.

Passage:

இயற்கை நமக்கு அளித்த மிகப்பெரிய கொடை மழை. மழை இல்லாமல் உலகில் உயிர்கள் வாழ முடியாது. மழை பெய்வதால் நதிகள் நிரம்புகின்றன. ஏரிகள் குளங்கள் நீரால் நிறைகின்றன. விவசாயிகள் தங்கள் நிலங்களில் பயிர்களை விதைக்கின்றனர். மரங்கள் செடிகள் பசுமையாக வளர்கின்றன.

மழை பெய்யும் காலத்தில் காற்று குளிர்ச்சியாக இருக்கும். வானம் மேகங்களால் மூடப்பட்டிருக்கும். இடி மின்னல் சத்தம் கேட்கும். குழந்தைகள் மழையில் விளையாட விரும்புகின்றனர். ஆனால் அதிக மழை பெய்தால் வெள்ளம் ஏற்படும். சாலைகள் தண்ணீரால் நிறையும். மக்கள் வீடுகளை விட்டு வெளியேற வேண்டியிருக்கும்.

எனவே மழை நமக்கு வரமும் சாபமும் ஆகும். சரியான அளவில் மழை பெய்தால் அது வரம். அதிகமாக பெய்தால் அது சாபம். நாம் மழை நீரை சேமித்து வைக்க வேண்டும். இதனால் வறட்சி காலத்தில் பயன்படுத்தலாம். மழை நீர் சேகரிப்பு மிகவும் முக்கியம்.
