Passage

The Rainy Day Surprise

(1) It was a grey Saturday morning when Mei woke up to the sound of raindrops tapping on her window. She had planned to go to the neighbourhood playground with her brother, Jian. However, the heavy rain made that impossible. Mei sighed and flopped back onto her pillow.
