The Mountain Rescue
Paragraph 1 Sarah gripped the rocky ledge tightly as the wind howled around her. The storm had arrived without warning, transforming their peaceful hiking trip into a nightmare. Below her, she could hear her younger brother Tom calling out desperately, his voice barely audible above the roaring wind.
Paragraph 2 "Stay calm, Tom!" Sarah shouted back, though her own heart was pounding like a drum. The rain lashed against her face, making it difficult to see more than a few metres ahead. She knew they had to find shelter quickly before the weather worsened further.
Paragraph 3 As Sarah carefully made her way down the treacherous path, she spotted a small cave nestled between two large boulders. The entrance was narrow, but it would provide the protection they desperately needed. She whistled sharply to get Tom's attention, pointing towards their potential refuge.
Paragraph 4 Tom's face brightened immediately when he saw the cave. Together, they scrambled towards it, their boots slipping on the wet rocks. Once inside, they huddled together, grateful for the warmth and safety the cave provided. The storm continued to rage outside, but they were no longer at its mercy.
Paragraph 5 Hours later, when the storm finally subsided, Sarah and Tom emerged from their rocky shelter. The mountain looked completely different now - streams of water cascaded down the slopes, and the air smelled fresh and clean. They had survived their ordeal, and the experience had brought them closer together than ever before.
