Last saturday, my class went on an educational trip to the National Museum of Singapore. We was all excited to learn about our country's rich history and culture.
Our tour guide, Ms. Chen, was very knowledgable and enthusiastic. She explain the significance of various artifacts and exhibits in great detail. The most intresting display was about Singapore's early days as a trading port.
We learned about the differnt ethnic groups that settled in Singapore and how they contributed to our multicultural society. The museum also showcase traditional costumes, food, and festivals from various communities.
I was particular fascinated by the section on World War II. The stories of ordinary people during those difficult times was both moving and educational.
After the visit, we had to write a reflexion about what we learned. This trip definitely helped me apreciate Singapore's diverse heritage and the struggles our ancestors faced.
