Reading Passage
The Amazing Butterfly Garden
Every morning, Emma loves to visit the butterfly garden behind her house. The garden is full of colourful flowers like roses, sunflowers, and daisies. Many beautiful butterflies fly around the flowers, drinking sweet nectar.
Yesterday, Emma discovered a special butterfly with bright orange and black wings. She watched it carefully as it landed on a red rose. The butterfly moved its wings slowly and gracefully. Emma's grandmother told her that this butterfly was called a Monarch butterfly, and it travels very far distances.
Emma decided to learn more about butterflies. She found out that butterflies start as tiny eggs, then become caterpillars, and finally change into beautiful butterflies. This amazing process is called metamorphosis.
Now Emma visits the garden every day, hoping to see more Monarch butterflies. She brings her camera to take pictures and keeps a diary about all the different butterflies she sees.
