The Lost Puppy
One sunny afternoon, Ben was playing in the park when he heard soft whimpering. Behind a bush, he found a small golden puppy that looked lost and worried. The puppy had no collar and was shivering with fear.
Ben gently picked up the puppy and searched the park for its owner. He asked other people in the park, but nobody recognized the little dog. Ben decided to take the puppy home and put up posters around the neighborhood.
The next day, a grateful family called Ben. They had been looking everywhere for their beloved pet, Max. When they came to collect Max, they offered Ben a reward, but he refused. Ben was just happy to see Max reunited with his loving family.

Letter to a Friend
Dear Sarah,
I hope you are well. I want to tell you about my favourite family tradition - our monthly game night!
Every first Saturday of the month, our whole family comes together to play board games. We celebrate this special time with lots of laughter and snacks. My grandmother always brings her famous chocolate cookies, and we play games like Monopoly and Scrabble.
This tradition is important to me because it creates wonderful memories with my family. It's so exciting to see everyone having fun together. Even my busy uncle takes time off work to join us.
I think family traditions help us stay close. Do you have any special traditions with your family? I would love to hear about them.
Your friend, Alex

Writing Task 3: Creative Writing - MODEL ANSWER
The Day I Became a Hero
Last month, I went on an adventure with my family to the beach. While building sandcastles, I heard someone screaming for help. A little girl had been swept away by a strong wave and was struggling in the water.
The situation was dangerous, but I knew I had to be brave. I am a good swimmer, so I quickly swam out to rescue her. The waves were powerful, but I managed to grab the girl and help her swim back to shore safely.
Her parents were so grateful and thanked me many times. I felt very proud of myself for helping someone in trouble. The lifeguard also praised me for my quick thinking and courage.
That day taught me that being a hero doesn't mean you have superpowers. Sometimes, it just means being brave enough to help others when they need you most.
